Flag of Romania 140/210 cm. extra durable

The flag is made from the most resistant and durable, robust and weather-resistant high-quality spun polyester(polyester fabric) with a weight of 160 gr / sqm with breaking load: 1400 daN (kg). The fiber tension: in length approximately 1400N and in width approximately 1400N. This fabric is primarily used in marine and is more durable than the traditional flag gloss polyester.

Tha flag is manufactured exclusively by hand using a combination of sewing of a pre-dyed polyester designed specifically for the flag industry. Each flag is reinforced with safety double stitch around the edge and the individual sections are joined using fell and run interlocking seams. The fly end is secured with four rows of quilted seams to prevent fraying and tearing at the ends. The flag is hand crafted by experienced seamstresses. Hand made sewn flags are more durable than printed flags. The flag provides a rich and lustrous appearance and has superb wearing strength due to the material’s superior strength-to-weight ratio. It is sturdy to handle all weather conditions and light enough to fly in gentle breeze and gale.

The national flag of Romania is a tricolor. The Constitution of Romania states that "The flag of Romania is tricolor; the colors are arranged vertically in the following order from the flagpole: blue, yellow, red". The flag has a width-length ratio of 2:3; the proportions, shades of color as well as the flag protocol were established by law in 199 and extended in 2001. The flag is very similar to the civil flag of Andorra and the state flag of Chad. The similarity with Chad's flag, which is identical apart from allowing a broader range of shades of blue, yellow and red, has caused international discussion. In 2004, Chad asked the United Nations to examine the issue. However, then-president of Romania Ion Iliescu announced that no change would occur to the flag. The flag of Moldova is similar to the Romanian tricolor, except that it has a 1:2 ratio, a lighter shade of blue, a slightly different shade of yellow, and the Moldovan coat of arms in the middle. The civil ensign of Belgium uses black rather than blue.
